Global Team Comes To Pakistan
Earlier in the month of August 2024, Syngenta's global and regional team members, including Tudor Ioana, Wei Cathy, Chen Chris, Reynolds Lucy, and Fromm William, visited Pakistan to explore the company’s business and digital models. This visit came at a critical time following regional restructuring, with a focus on identifying effective business strategies for the new regional changes. The team visited various key locations, including the plant and packaging factory, where they observed operational efficiencies. At the Karachi head office, they engaged with Lean In community members, holding separate sessions to discuss diversity, inclusion, and future career development.
The visit also included insightful field trips, allowing the team to interact with local growers and understand the unique agricultural challenges faced in Pakistan. They explored the Naya Savera franchises, which are being digitalized through the B2B2C system, and placed e-commerce orders to experience its impact on operations. Engaging with the digital team, they discussed the Cropwise app and e-commerce strategies, gaining valuable insights into digital advancements. The marketing team shared innovative strategies, providing fresh perspectives on market engagement. Visits to the Centrigo and LDC centers showcased the integration of business operations and highlighted the success of the Cropwise app and ongoing trials of new NPIs, signaling strong growth potential.
The visit proved invaluable, giving the team a comprehensive understanding of Syngenta Pakistan’s operations and the innovations driving its success.
